What Does it Cost?

Basic Professional Membership (Chapter Meetings additional, at the reduced member rate of $25) is $140, due August 31, 2017

All-Access Pass Professional Membership (includes ALL Chapter meetings AND one FREE Fireside Chat Meeting (a savings of $95!) is $295, due August 31 2017.

2. Candidate Membership (Not yet a member of the National Speakers Association):

If you are not currently a member of National Speakers Association, we’d like to help you get there! There are 2 categories of member candidate membership. The best way is to attend our Speakers Academy – 16-month chapter membership included in Academy tuition!

Join as a Member Candidate, so you can take advantage of our meetings at the member rate for up to two years. This category is for those who are on their way to National membership, but need a little guidance to get there – and would love to be a part of the chapter in the meantime.

Member Candidates pay slightly increased dues, but this INCLUDES 2 :30 coaching sessions with a Professional Member Volunteer Mentor, to help guide you to National Membership.

3. Non-Member (Guest) Chapter Meeting attendance

When is my membership renewal fee due?

Membership renewals are due no later than August 31st.

If I am a chapter member, how much are chapter meetings?

All regular chapter meetings are included in your all-access pass membership; otherwise, those with Basic membership (even of another NSA chapter) may attend meetings at the reduced member rate ($25), which includes dinner.

Are special chapter meetings included in my chapter membership fee?

Throughout the year NSA Connecticut will host various events such as a holiday party and Fireside/Poolside meetings, to name a few. These events will have an additional fee associated due to the additional costs.

When are chapter meetings?

Chapter meetings are generally the second Thursday of the month (September – June), 6:30-8:30 PM. However, at times to accommodate the guest speaker’s schedule, we will have to make changes to the schedule to ensure we are booking the very best for you.

How do I become a Member Candidate member?

By joining the NSA Connecticut Chapter where you will have two years to become a Professional member. Professional Member means you are a member of the National Speakers Association and have met the eligibility requirements as determined by National. If you are not a national member or do not currently meet the eligibility requirements, we still welcome you to attend chapter meetings. You would simply register for each meeting and pay its guest fee ($40).
