The Power of Yes and Using Improv to Improve Your Speaking… and Business.
Jeanne M. Stafford trains her audiences to use YES Words and think like an improviser to bring them from stuck to achieving momentum.
When we speak to audiences we like things to go according to plan. When we think this way we usually miss all the beautiful gifts that lie in the unknown. Improv uncovers these gifts and YES Words (Jeanne’s training signature) are the tools to set them free. When you think like a comedy improviser you learn to listen for the nuggets in your interactions with clients one and one and on stage to maximize your impact and to share the gifts you are there to share.
Participants in this session will learn to be alive in the space and say YES to fun and interaction. While playing improv gameswe’ll work together to identify “events” and reconstruct actual conversations and negotiations.
Value to Members:
- Produce an environment supporting regular engagement and feedback
- Assess and meet your audiences where they are
- Identify fast, effective ways to interact
- Develop positive working relationships that last
About the Speaker:
Jeanne M. Stafford is a Speaker and Trainer and Author. From 15 years as a political and non-profit fundraiser with local, national and international clients, Stafford learned “on the job” what works in communication and what doesn’t.
Jeanne’s clients learn to communicate what they want to say, when they want to say it. They learn to communicate succinctly and to make an impact in every space they enter by thinking and saying YES. Clients learn to be resilient in the face of conflict and establish strong, ongoing relationships at work and at home.
In the spring of 2018, Jeanne is thrilled to be releasing her first of many books about communication, Think. Drink. Eat. Move 4 Steps to YES. She is the host of Jeanne Stafford’s Networking Dinner in New York City where she facilitates conversations with guest speakers and gives guests the tools to become more successful communicators.
Jeanne is a member of The National Speakers Association and serves on several boards in the arts and education.
Jeanne’s mission is to help clients and audiences find greater joy at work and in life by arming them with usable and compelling communication skills. She wants to leave a room full of people lighter and more powerful than when she found it.
